About Me

My photo
Creepy Minisink
All Photos taken by Chris Francz. I found the old postcards and photos of Pococabana on the internet. If you have old photos, stories, old maps, recollections, ghost stories, or interesting information you would like to share, please email me at: artdaywithchris@yahoo.com. I've lived in Minisink Hills, PA and very nearby for over twenty years. I've recently started to look into the history of the area after I began taking daily walks and noticing all kinds of interesting things. Minisink Hills is very old with a rich history, some very old homes, an old grist mill, lots of 200+ year old crumbled foundations and even haunted houses. Minisink Hills, PA is located one mile from Delaware Water Gap, close to the border of northern New Jersey and approx. seventy eight miles away from New York City. Please contact me if you have any information or old photos that you think I may be interested in. What I am dreaming about one day obtaining: A brochure or booklet from Schmitt's Mountain Resort. Written memories from someone who stayed at Schmitt's Mountain Resort. Information about the original owners / builders of Schmitt's Mountain Resort.
